Yes, I’m posting about a lot of giveaways lately. There are some really great ones out there! And, my crafting is limited right now since I’m sick on the couch. Tomorrow I simply HAVE to be well — our MOPS group is having a craft day and I’m in charge. I’ve actually named it Craftapalooza! We’ll make bath salts, coasters from tiles, and beaded bookmarks. We’ll also learn how to make beautiful bows. I don’t know how to do this type of bow, but my friend Sandy does and she’s going to teach us. I’m super excited! I’ll try to get some pictures posted soon.

But, now on to the next giveaway I’ve found! I am sooooo excited to find this Etsy shop. I love it. Love it. I’m favoriting everything right now. And, if you head over to fabulous k, there’s a giveaway for three of her prints. WOW! Three! I need these. NEED.

Hope you’re having a crafty day!

Ok, I’ve been thinking about this giveaway from the Fabric Shopper for almost 2 weeks.

And today I found out that I won! HOORAY! YIPPEE!! WOO-HOO!

(Yes, I am quite excited.)

Now I have to go think about what to make….

In other news, I know I’ve been out of the blogging world awhile. My eldest daughter is turning 2 next weekend. I’m furiously working on a birthday banner and matching tablecloth for her. The tablecloth is a wonky log cabin. Yes. I’m quilting it. Well, patchwork for now. After the party I’ll add the batting & backing & quilt it. Eventually it will be a twin quilt for her.

I’m really excited about this project because I have the sheet that was the first one she slept on as a baby and a piece of fabric I used to swaddle her. (The weather was in the 100s and we didn’t have A/C. I didn’t use blankets on her for months! An extra yard of fabric was her swaddler instead.) I can’t wait until the day that these fabrics that once cradled and held her can do so again.

Pictures to come soon.

Here’s a new Giveaway I’ve heard of from Shabby Apple — beautiful dresses!

I love giveaways! I think I’ll have to have another one soon…. Hmm…. I must start thinking of what to give away….

Yesterday I met someone new and we got to talking about starting our own businesses. I handed her one of my supa’ cool cards and she began gushing over their supa’ coolness.

I have to agree. They are gushable. See…

Lale Style Promo Cards back

My buddy Brittney has been graphic designing (it’s a word, right?) for several years now. She put together this folded business card with all of my info on the front and back and pictures/shop info on the inside. It always gets me great attention! All of her stuff is quite gushable, if you ask me!

People always ask where I found my cards, so I thought I’d show off Brittney’s site for you. In addition to business cards and Etsy banners/stuff, she makes beautiful cards. She did both of my girls’ birth announcements. Her Etsy site is boriginals and her website is also called boriginals. (That’s so handy, isn’t it?) Here’s some of my other faves that she’s done.

This was the birth announcement she did for our second daughter. Beautiful!!!

The hands are great — they just make this perfect.

sweet baby boy

This almost makes me want to wake up my little sweethearts to see their faces. Almost. But not quite. I mean, who wakes up two kids when they’re napping at the same time? Instead, I’ll go sleep now….! (After all, you can’t create when you’re sleepy, right?)
