I really like to quilt stuff. I like how the lines of stitching make a whole new pattern on top of the fabric’s pattern. But, I don’t always have the time or patience to make a big ol’ quilt. So, I’ve been making potholders and coasters like crazy. I get to experiment with quilting styles and I can put all kinds of fabrics together. Here’s a set I recently made. It’s using Amy Butler’s Daisy Chain.  It’s not up in my shop yet, but it will be soon…… 🙂

Now I have just one question: Is it pot holder or potholder? 🙂

Welcome to la•le Pop! This blog is an extension of my Etsy shop — la•le Style. Here I’ll be sharing some of my new designs, showing off cool stuff I’ve found, and giving away lots of stuff. I dig free stuff.

To kick off la•le Pop, let’s give away some free stuff! Here’s how it works. Head over to my Etsy shop and look around. Leave a comment here and answer the question below. I’ll use random.org to choose someone from the comments. You have until Saturday, May 16th at 11:47 p.m. to enter. Please only enter once, but definitely check back often for more giveaways! Now, what will you win? And what is the question?

You could win this supa’ cool potholder:

Groovy Pot Holder is Held by Pot Out of the Pot... Staying Away from Fire

(In this case, I guess it would be a Pot Heldee, right?)

With three layers of Warm & Natural batting inside, this extra-large 7 by 8  inch potholder will keep your hand from getting toasted! One side is 100% cotton groovy fabric. The other is  lime green twill.

Now, what’s the question?

What should I make next….. purses, potholders, baby quilts, or more Nifty Little Bags? Or, can you think of something else….?

That’s the question of the week. Now, go forth to my shop and look around. Then, comment away!
